The kit includes all the building materials, but you will need standard tools. Essential items include a shovel, pick, level, tape measure, rake, rubber mallet, and push broom. For best results, we recommend renting a plate compactor for the soil. Note: Tools are not included in the kit.
Our kits are designed with precision. The main pavers and the border stones come pre-cut/sized for the Compact, Extend, and Pivot models to minimize or eliminate the need for cutting on standard installations.
Not if installed correctly. The system includes heavy-duty edge restraints fastened with spikes to lock the perimeter. Additionally, the interlocking panels create a unified structure that “floats” with the ground during freeze/thaw cycles.
Drainage is critical. During the preparation phase (Step 3), you must grade your soil to have a slight slope away from your home (approx. 1 inch drop for every 4 feet). We provide detailed instructions in our guide. Prefer not to worry about math? If you choose our Professional Installation, our expert crew handles all the grading and drainage for you.
It is common in the hardscaping industry for a small percentage of pavers (up to 2-3%) to have minor chips during transit. To give you peace of mind, we include extra pavers in every kit to cover these instances. However, if you find significant damage beyond this buffer, please document it with photos upon delivery and contact our support team immediately for a replacement or credit.
Once your order is processed, standard delivery within the Raleigh and Charlotte areas typically takes 3-7 business days. Our logistics partner will contact you to schedule the curbside drop-off window.
Generally, no. This system is designed for ground installation (soil). If you have an existing concrete slab, please contact our support team for advice on overlay methods.
We accept returns of full, unopened pallets within 30 days. Please refer to our detailed Return Policy page for specifics on restocking fees and return shipping responsibilities.
It depends on the method you choose. For Professional Installation, our experienced crew typically completes the project in just 2 days regardless of the model. For DIY projects, it varies by kit size: plan for approximately 3-5 days for the Compact Kit, 5-7 days for the Extend Kit, and 6-8 days for the Pivot L-Shape Kit of active work.
